It’s so important that we all speak up on mental health.

We believe that the individuals we serve are people first. We understand that mental health difficulties and addiction to substances profoundly affects a person’s physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. These health issues may impact personal happiness and interpersonal relationships. Stabilization begins with learning to understand and cope with symptoms related to mental illness and addiction. Our goal is to help you regain independence and enhance your total wellness. We hope you find your stay here meaningful and encourage you to use the opportunity to acquire necessary skills to overcome stressors, triggers, and symptoms related to your illness.

Treatment and Discharge Planning

If you have ever played a Rubik’s Cube, you know that it is important to focus on all six sides. Your health is no different. Humans are complex and it is important to address your whole health. This may include physical, mental, addictions, dental, and other areas. We strive to assist you to improve not only your mental health, but your overall wellness.

At BestCare, we assist you to identify and overcome barriers. Discharge planning begins at admission and is highly integrated throughout your treatment plan. Your goals, barriers, and psychiatric stabilization plan will remain the primary focus throughout your stay. The length of stay is typically short-term and varies upon multiple factors. Length of stay is typically determined by a therapist and/or treatment team recommendation. We expect that you participate in treatment activities in order to meet your goals and obtain adequate stabilization. It is our hope that you discharge with an inclusive plan and resources that support you to better manage your overall wellness.

Your established treatment provider(s) will be notified of your admission. We encourage your treatment team to be highly involved in your treatment and discharge planning at Brooks.
