BestCare offers Mental Health Counseling for individuals who are in need of services. Mental health counseling can be viewed as a stand-alone service, or offered in conjunction with drug and alcohol treatment.
We believe that the individuals we serve are people first. We understand that mental health difficulties and addiction to substances profoundly affects a person’s physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. These health issues may impact personal happiness and interpersonal relationships. Stabilization begins with learning to understand and cope with symptoms related to mental illness and addiction. Our goal is to help you regain independence and enhance your total wellness. Closure of Brooks Mental Health Crisis Respite Program
We regret to announce that Brooks Mental Health Crisis Respite will be closing its operations effective May 6, 2025. Despite our best efforts to sustain Brooks Respite for the past two years, the changes in the Oregon Health Authority policies on billing codes and administrative rules under which we operate have forced us to make this difficult decision. Brooks Respite has served the Central Oregon community since 2017 providing a valuable and needed service. We would like to thank our staff for providing compassionate care to people who are in difficult situations, providing critical support at a crisis point in many people’s lives. We want to extend our deepest appreciation for our community partners who worked with us in collaboration to improve many people’s lives. The closure of the program is occurring despite the high quality of the services we provide. We focus on providing integrated treatment services, which is concentrated on the whole health and wellness of individuals.
