MEDICATION Supported Recovery (MSR/MAT)

At our Bend, Redmond and Prineville locations, we are offering FDA-approved medications such as Buprenorphine oral product and long-acting Buprenorphine injections (Sublocade) as well as Naltrexone oral product and long-acting Naltrexone injections (Vivitrol)  which are evidence based in supporting recovery from opiate use disorder and alcohol use disorder (Vivitrol and Sublocade are not offered at our Prineville location).

Medications are managed by highly qualified and specially licensed health care providers trained in addiction medicine. Our outpatient MSR program is overseen by a physician with special training in addiction medicine and has completed the addiction medicine ECHO certification through Oregon Health & Sciences University.

Medication supported recovery is recommended as part of a robust recovery treatment including substance use disorder (SUD) and/or mental health counseling which are also available at BestCare. Medications are tools that assist people as a component of their recovery.  Our MSR team includes an RN care manager, an SUD counselor, and a peer mentor.

We work diligently to see that new patients access care within 72 hours depending on our schedule and look forward to providing you care.  Please reach out to one of our medical assistants if you are interested in learning more.
